New York Chiropractic College was granted an Absolute Charter by the New York State Board of Regents on behalf of the New York State Education Department of the University of the State of New York.
New York Chiropractic College's Doctor of Chiropractic degree program, the Master of Science degree programs in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine, the Master of Science degree program in Diagnostic Imaging, the Master of Science degree program in Applied Clinical Nutrition, the Master of Science degree program in Clinical Anatomy and the Bachelor of Professional Studies degree program are registered by the New York State Education Department of the University of the State of New York.
New York Chiropractic College and its degree programs are accredited by the Commission on Higher Education of the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools, 3624 Market Street , Philadelphia , PA 19104 , 215-662-5606 . The Commission on Higher Education is an institutional accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Secretary of Education and the Commission on Recognition of Postsecondary Accreditation.


The Master of Science in Acupuncture and Master of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine programs of the New York Chiropractic College are accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ACAOM), which is the recognized accrediting agency for the approval of programs preparing acupuncture and Oriental medicine practitioners.
